Reliable community data is essential to effective problem solving. Participants will take a critical look at community data as it is developed for, and applied in, community problem solving efforts. The workshop will consider the difference between community conditions and community problems, explore participatory methods of qualitative or “anecdotal” data development, and examine the concept action research.
