Executive Women's Council of Greater Pittsburgh

The mission of EWC is to provide leadership and facilitate opportunities to increase the political and economic power of executive and professional women.

The Executive Women's Council (EWC), Greater Pittsburgh, Inc., was created to provide enrichment, support, and a source of collective influence for executive and professional women in Pittsburgh. The Council was formed in 1975 by a group of women who held responsible positions within the local industry, education, government, private institutions, and the professions. After 30 years, it remains today a unique organization that provides opportunities for qualified women in various fields to meet and interact.

EWC activities include a variety of committees on which to serve, an active communication mechanism via an e-newsletter and listserv, a Women in Leadership Program, a Women on Boards Initiative, an EWC Woman of Achievement Award, and networking opportunities that include educational programs.

We encourage you to learn more about our organization and the wealth of talent that lies within. We are proud that our members are active, accomplished, and award winning citizens who have their finger directly on the pulse of our community.
