Class Outline:
- Indian 'Pizza Margherita'
- Indian chicken/turkey pizza
As you walk into the class, you’ll be greeted with some hot chai.
We'll begin by preparing the naan dough, you'll learn how to make a healthier naan dough from scratch using fresh ingredients. In the future, you can use this same recipe to make naan. We'll be using this naan as the base bread of the pizzas.
While the naan dough rises, we'll prepare the tomato sauce from scratch using fresh spices and other ingredients. I'll talk about other ways you can use this sauce :) After that, we'll prepare the chicken/turkey topping for the non-vegetarian pizzas.
At this point, we'll have every single piece ready for the pizzas. We'll dive into rolling the naan out and topping it off with the vegetarian and non-vegetarian toppings. We'll be substituting mozzarella cheese and basil with two interesting ingredients - if you're curious to know what those are, please shoot me an email at fharzana at iheartcurry.com.
I highly recommend that you eat a snack before coming to the class, since we won't be making an appetizer.
