Join us on a walking tour of historic Old Louisville with UofL archivist and historian Dr. Tom Owen. Louisville’s pied-piper of neighborhoods, Owen will lead us on a walk through Old Louisville. The journey includes a feast of Victorian architecture, colorful stories of the well-know and not-so-well-known, and the calling-out of places where cloistered nuns once prayed and common folk played. Owen loves to weave a tale, has an eye for easily overlooked detail, and delights in the surprise. The tour will end at The Filson with a wine and cheese reception.
There is a charge of $25 for Filson members and $30 for non-members. Please dress comfortably; the walk will last approximately 1 1/2 hours.
