Getting Hands On with LinkedIn
Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM (EST)
LinkedIn is more than an electronic Rolodex. It’s a powerful tool that can help professionals move up the career ladder and land new clients. Anthony Shop is back for his second LinkedIn workshop at The National Press Club. He will provide an overview of LinkedIn’s functionality, identify how LinkedIn can help you achieve your professional and business goals, and determine when it is not the most effective tool. Anthony will empower you to develop your career and develop business by researching people and companies, enhancing your online presence, identifying useful second-degree connections, reaching out to second-degree connections through introductions, and sending segmented communications to your networks.
Anthony Shop is Managing Director of Social Driver, an award-winning digital agency. Companies hire Social Driver when they need help connecting with people online. The company manages social media campaigns, designs websites and develops mobile applications. A fast-growing firm that was named DC Chamber of Commerce Small Business Champion in 2012, Social Driver works with leading corporations, nonprofits, and communications agencies. The instructor will be available after the session to meet with the attendees and answer questions.
