Event Details
Val Lay, CFRE, joined the AFP staff in 2006 and serves as the Chapter Services Director for the Central U.S.     Val has over 20 years of experience as a fundraiser working in affordable housing, youth development and health care philanthropy. She has been an AFP member since 1993 and served as Vice President of Education for the AFP Central Ohio chapter. Val’s home is in Crown Point, Indiana 
 
Membership and AFP -  what's in it for me?  
Learning Objectives:
Participants will kow how to access all the benefits of being a member of an international association - online and through AFP's print media.
 
Participants will be provided with current research on the U.S. charitable environment
 
Participants will learn the hallmarks of the fundraising profession and the value (to them and their organization) of obtaining the voluntary CFRE credential.
