This workshop will focus on the basic assumptions that underpin the practice of accounting. You will learn how the various nonprofit financial statements are compiled and how they work together to create a financial picture. Topics include basic terminology, transactions, financial statements, and double-entry accounting.
Presenter Kathi deFremery is the Finance and Operations Director at the Center. She has had over 15 years of finance experience in both the for-profit and nonprofit world, working as a business and tax consultant, law firm controller and nonprofit finance director.
