Celebrate Women’s Equality Day with Women’s eNews this year!

Join Women's eNews for a screening of No Job for a Woman, the award winning documentary tracks women’s fight for gender equality as war reporters – a fight we’re still having today. We invite you to share your own equality stories at the event or on Twitter with the hashtag #aug26

No Job For A Woman DVD Cover

When World War II broke out, reporter Martha Gellhorn was so determined to get to the frontlines that she left husband Ernest Hemingway, never to be reunited. Ruth Cowan’s reporting was hampered by a bureau chief who refused to talk to her. Meanwhile, photojournalist Dickie Chappelle wanted to get so close to the action that she could feel bullets whizzing by.

The screening will be followed by drinks, nibbles and joyful celebration of the ground we have gained for gender parity around the world.

Come Celebrate Equality for Women Worldwide!
