Event Details

The Chinese Culture Center annually offers four sessions of Weekday Intermediate Mandarin class for adults. For the spring session, there will be 10 weeks of classes.

The Adult Mandarin Class teaching style is interactive with an emphasis on spoken language for practical use, and some character learning. The teacher is a native of China, and an experienced, professional teacher with a degree in language education from Peking University. This is an enthusiastic teacher who makes learning fun for students of all levels. Weekday Intermediate Mandarin class emphasizes conversational Mandarin basics, Chinese cultural practices, and some essential characters.

Spring Weekday Intermediate Mandarin Class schedule: September 29, 2009 – December 17, 2009, every Tuesday & Thursday, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Tuition: $350 per person for CCC members and $375 for non-CCC members ALL CLASSES ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. The Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco is a major community-based, non-profit organization established in 1965 to foster the understanding and appreciation of Chinese and Chinese American art, history, and culture in the United States. The facilities of the Center, totaling 20,000 square feet, include a 299-seat auditorium, a 2,935 square-foot gallery, book shop, classroom, and offices.
