With more and more of our business and personal lives online we need to find the balance between openness and safety. Talk with representatives from local law enforcement agencies about how they use social media to engage with their communities and what you can do to keep you, your property and your family safe when using social media.
Our 10 minute 101 segment will be about how to segment, protect and distribute your information on Facebook.
Event Schedule:
6:30 -- 7:00: Mingle/Network
7:00 -- 8:15: Social Crime Program + Questions and Answers
Includes keynote discussions with the Sacramento Sheriff and Fairfield PD Departments
8:15 -- 8:30: Wrap-up + more mingling
There is no cost to participate, but we request attendees register in advance so that we have an accurate head count for refreshments. Light appetizers and drinks will be provided.
For those not able to join the discussion in person, the event will be streamed live online at http://www.ustream.tv/smc-sac. Online viewers will be able to pose questions to the panelists just like the on-site participants.
