Kids can’t learn or grow if they are anxious about their safety. This curriculum provides staff working in group homes, classrooms, and other settings with the mindset and skills necessary for preventing and intervening in situations where safety is a concern – so that the stage can be set for positive learning and growth.
The benefits of training staff in this curriculum include:
Day one focuses on interpersonal skills. Day two focuses on non-restrictive and restrictive physical skills.
Both days are 9:00 - 4:00 (lunch on your own)
Pending approval by the California Department of Social Services for 12 hours of continuing education units for administrator recertification (Vendor GH 1000342-730-2; course number to be announced).
