The day will consist of:
8:30 – 9:00 Pre-workshop networking, coffee and pastries.
9:00 – 12:00 Human Resources Panels
Two facilitated morning sessions with a panel of working human resource and recruitment professionals who will answer questions relating to current trends in interviewing, favored resume formats, current hot interview questions and more.
12:00 – 1:00 Lunch
A pizza lunch hosted by Bridges to Jobs will provide conference participants ample opportunity to network with other attendees and introduce themselves to the human resource panel professionals.
1:00 – 3:30 Afternoon breakout sessions:
Interview Demonstration, Tips and Techniques
A demonstration with working Human Resources professionals and educators on how to interview, answer questions, use proper body language and more in order to help you stand out from the crowd in your interview.
Resume review.
We will again have experienced individuals who will meet with job seekers attending the workshop to review resumes. This is by appointment only which can be reserved at time of registration. At last years workshop all available appointments were filled prior to the day of the workshop so early registration is to your advantage.
Other Information
On-line registration ends the morning of the workshop.
Walk-in registration and check-in on the day of the workshop begins at 8:30 a.m. We encourage participants to bring along a partner to attend the workshop and support you during the day.
Scholarships for those in need are available and are encouraged up to the date of the workshop.
You are also invited to attend our general meetings on Saturday mornings from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M in room E201. We suggest you come a bit early and stay after to network.
