Jackson Square Wine Tour
Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, CA
Join us on an exclusively curated urban wine and food tour through the Historic Jackson Square District.
Experience classic cocktails and Hors d'oeuvres at some of San Francisco’s trendiest establishments. Discover under-the-radar downtown wine bars as you stroll through the former Barbary Coast and learn about the oldest surviving commercial buildings in San Francisco.
Stop 1 -
Taste historic pisco punch and hangtown toast from one of San Francisco’s oldest saloons. Comstock was named one of the best bars in America and recently featured on Anthony Bourdain’s “The Layover.”
Stop 2 -
Savor a slice of mouthwatering spinach and parmesan artisan pizza from West Coast's oldest pizza oven, later inspiring Wolfgang Puck's pizza empire and has been enjoyed by the likes of Francis Ford Coppola. Pizza is paired with a glass of the Italian trattoria’s proprietary wine.
Stop 3 -
Interactive wine blending or blind tasting experience at an environmentally sustainable winery, and America’s first private-label wine establishment using a proprietary Cask Delivery System. Accompanying cheese pairings included.
Stop 4 -
Finish the night with a glass of champagne, strawberries, and chocolate at San Francisco's premier champagne bar, which serves over 300 sparkling wines.
