Join the Twin Cities Media Alliance and the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy (MCEA) for a happy hour of ideas and action on environmental advocacy.

By the time an environmental decision is opened for comments, it's often too late. Learn about the threats being proposed in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) and actions we can take to help shift policy decisions. Join us to combine a passion for the environment with the broad reaching power of new media.

The Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy will be informing the audience of the risks and outcomes of proposed copper mining in the BWCA.

The Twin Cities Media Alliance will then present new media tools which can be used to help with advocacy efforts.

Light appetizers will be available. Beer, wine and cocktails will be served at happy hour prices.
