You may have played one of the fast paced competitive OuterBody Games at a recent festival, conference or party, or have been hoping for a chance to give it a try without the crowds and lines, or have wanted to spend a little more time exploring this unique mind warping sensory fragmentation experience.

We are opening up the OuterBody Experience Lab and featuring our sampler session, a great mix of activities designed to get your sense of self well outside your physical body. The sampler includes a handful of activities that will challenge, disorient and disembody you. Think of it like a video game starring you, or a tv game show where you can feel what the contestant feels. You become both the audience and the star simultaneously. The sampler session is designed for 2 players who will collaborate and compete with each other.

We use video goggles and cameras to move your sense of sight out of your body and into a third person point of view that's looking back at yourself. 

Your visual perspective has a lot of influence over how your mind fabricates your own sense of self. In this fractured sensory state you'll have the opportunity to sample a handful of activities and games that accentuate the balance between your eyesight and your other embodied senses. The goal is to relocate your sense of self out of your body.

Think of it as Voyeuristic Introspection.

 As you will notice, we've spread a few discounted tickets throughout the evening. You can also feel free to come by and watch, if there are open slots still available at the door, they'll go for $15/person.

One caveat about corrective eyewear: the goggles we currently use do not have any visual adjustability, and eye glasses won't fit inside. Wearing contacts is recommended if you have them. some near sighted people are still able to see the video just fine, but please take this into consideration when purchasing a ticket.
