Throughout the summer Magic Zone Youth have been raising money for the Annual Backpack Giveaway, as well as charities like Child Abuse Prevention Center, SFFD Toy Drive, Breast Cancer Support and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Next week they announce their totals and share how they chose their charities. Won't you help them reach their goals and celebrate their efforts?

$20 for lunch, panel and program all proceeds benefit aforementioned programs.

The money covers the cost of lunch helps the group collect money for school supplies for hundreds of backpacks and allows them to make donations to the organizations identified by the groups participating in the Magic Zone Summer Programming.

Kindergarten - 2nd chose to donate money to the Firefighters toy drive

3rd - 5th chose to support the Diabetes Foundation

6th - 8th chose to donate to the Child Abuse Prevention Center

Peer Leaders (9th -12th) chose to support breast cancer programming

Even you can't attend the luncheon consider making a small donation no amount to small, $1, $5 whatever you can contribute. The youth are enjoying the pleasure of giving back and helping and others and learning we can all make a difference. True empowerment comes from realization that you have something to give.

The youth have hosted a walk-a-thon, bake sale and researched their organizations. They have raised over $1,000 and are excited to make their presentations and learn more about service and philanthropy.
