WHY SHOULD I TAKE IMPROV?

Improv is a great tool for ANYONE to have. Whether you’re an actor, lawyer, entrepreneur, comedian, dog trainer or whatever...improv teaches you to stay quick on your feet and allows you to adapt to unexpected events. Improv is all about reacting, staying focused, being in the moment and “playing” to the top of your intelligence.  This class will introduce you to the fundamentals of improvisation. Absolutely NO experience required! Non-performers and business minded folks are VERY welcome!  

Zero fear...ALL FUN! You will play and learn in a safe, positive and supportive enrivironment. Students will walk away with more confidence in themselves and will be ready to face whatever this crazy world throws at them! 

Classes will be taught by local actor Kimee Balmilero (Original Broadway Cast of Mamma Mia, Hi-5, Miss Saigon). Kimee has performed sketch and improv in LA in such venues as UCB, iO West and Second City. She's received most of her improv training from UCB in LA and continues to take classes in LA with pro improvisers Suzi Barrett, Eugene Cordero, Eliza Skinner and Jim Woods. She's super stoked to share what she knows with the Hawaii improv community.

Beginning Improv for Adults (ages 18-92):

Wedesdays 6pm -9pm
August 8, 15, 22, 29 & Sept 5(showcase during the last class)
