Tuition Amounts and Payment Information

Tuition amount for the 12 week program is $480.  The total tuition amount is divided into four installment payments.  The first installment is due with the completion of this enrollment.  Follow on installments are due on the 1st of each month beginning October 1, 2012 ending December 1, 2012.  You will be provided with payment options during the first class.

Schedule of installment payments are set forth as follows:

Installment #1:                  $120.00 due now

Installment #2:                  $120.00 due 10/1/12

Installment #3:                  $120.00 due 11/1/12

Installment #4:                   $120.00 due 12/1/12

Social Skills Groups Missed Classes:

While we are unable to offer a make-up class for missing a Social Skills class time we are able to provide you with a certificate toward one of Dr. Rene’s parenting workshops. Please contact Ms. Erin to receive your certificate. Erin@parentingplaygroups.com

There are no tuition deductions for missed classes.

Weather Related or other Unscheduled Closings:

Parenting Playgroups Alexandria location follows the inclement weather closing/delay practices of Fairfax County Schools.  Should any class be cancelled due to weather or other unscheduled event, a makeup class will be offered.   Social Skills programs will have an additional week in late January to facilitate any needed make up classes.  There are no tuition deductions for weather related or other unscheduled closings so long as make up classes are made available.

Refund policy

There are no refunds given for payments made for our Children's Programs or Parent Workshops.  If you make a payment and need to cancel or change plans, you can put your paid tuition towards any future Children's Program or Parent Workshop at Parenting Playgroups.  There is no time limit for applying this credit.  If a Program or Workshop is cancelled for a power outage, weather condition or similar event, we will work to provide a make-up class or you may apply your paid tuition towards any future Children's Program or Parent Workshop at Parenting Playgroups.  If we have to cancel a Program or Workshop due to low enrollment or a scheduling conflict, you can attend a make-up, apply your paid tuition towards any future Children's Program or Parent Workshop at Parenting Playgroups or we will issue a refund.  If paid thru paypal, this refund will incur a small, paypal cancellation fee. 

Returned Checks:

There is a $25 charge for any check returned by the bank.

Responsibility:

In consideration of being accepted in the Program, Parent and Child each hereby release Parenting Playgroups Inc. and each of their directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives and affiliates (collectively, the “Parenting Playgroups Parties”) from any and all loss, liability, damage, cost or expense arising out of Child’s participation in the Program.  This agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without regard to principles of conflict of laws.

Emergency Medical Authorization:

Enrollment in the Program is contingent on completion of the Family Information Form which includes requisite medical information for your Child.  Should your Child become ill, be injured or require emergency or other medical treatment during the Program, Parenting Playgroups will attempt to contact the Emergency Contact persons set forth on the Family Information Form.  Should these Emergency Contact Persons be unavailable, Parent hereby requests, authorizes and gives full permission and consent to the Parenting Playgroups Parties to act on the Parent's behalf and in their stead.
