The Bangkok Photo School Field-Trip is exclusively for students of the Bangkok Photo School Essential Package and is the practical part of our three-week Essentials Course.

FAQs
Do I need to be a student of a current class to attend the field-trip?
Yes. The field-trip is exclusively for current students of our Essentials Package.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There's no parking at Saphan Tak Sin BTS or Sathorn Pier but it's easy to reach by the BTS Skytrain. Just get off the train at the Saphan Tak Sin stop, go down to street level and we will meet beside the blue TMB Currecnt Exchange book on the main pier by the river.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, please bring your ticket with you, either printed or on a mobile device.
What about refreshments?
There's plenty of strret stalls where you can purchase bottled water, soft drinks and freshly-cooked street food.
What if I'm running late?
We will take the first river taxi that arrives after 4pm. If you are running late, please send an sms to one or both of the numbers below and we'll tell you where we are so that you can catch up.

What should I bring?
We advise you to travel as light as possible. There's no need for a tripod or flash/strobe, unless you especially want to practice using them. This is a street photography workshop so we suggest that you bring one camera body and a wide-angle lens. Lenses with wide apertures are preferred (f/1.0 to f/3.5).
You might also wish to bring an umbrella, especially in the rainy season and sufficient local currency to buy refreshments and to cover the cost of a taxi at the end of the field-trip.
What time and where will the field-trip finish?
The filed-trip will finish at approximately 7pm at the Pak Klong Talat Market. The river taxis usually stop running at about 6:30pm so we will find you a tuk-tuk or taxi for your onward journey.
