Event Details

The September 17 Subway Supper Seminar at the New Haven Public Library will explore What You Need To Know About that Financial Report.  Not understanding the elements of a financial statement can jeopardize the stability and viability of any organization. This seminar is designed for the board member and executive director who is NOT a financial whiz, and offers an opportunity to upgrade important financial skills, including spotting and preventing internal fraud.

The seminar will be presented by Michael Hanlon, CPA, a manager with BlumShapiro, the largest regional accounting, tax and business consulting firm based in Connecticut. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Hanlon is also active in the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce’s Nonprofit Resources Council.

Subway Supper Seminars are funded by a grant from the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation and Subway Restaurants.
