The use of pimobendan for congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension is well established in dogs. Less well established/inappropriate uses included treating congestive heart failure in cats and treating dogs with heart disease prior to congestive heart failure. This talk will examine the current approved uses of pimobendan and consider evidence to date for use in other circumstances.
