Unconventional Reservoirs Core Workshop
Hosted by Triple O Slabbing
The fee includes food at breaks, lunch, workbook and PDH Certificate
Compare and contrast a selection of Unconventional reservoirs including the Barnett Shale, the Bakken Formation, Wasatch & Mesaverde tight gas sands, Woodford shale and possibly Niobrara. Core “experts” will be on hand with core data for most of the cores.
Barnett shale core: Roger Slatt, University of Oklahoma, Director, Institute of Reservoir Characterization
Bakken Formation: Lyn Canter, Whiting Petroleum Corp
Woodford Shale: Nick Harris, Colorado School of Mines, Dept. of Geology and Geological Engineering
Mesaverde – Wasatch Tight Gas Sand core: Donna Anderson, EOG Resources, Inc.
