Prima Festa presents a one-day motor coach tour to the Philadelphia Italian Market on Saturday, October 20, 2007.
The Market is the oldest and largest working outdoor market in the United States. Still predominantly Italian, it has the best of many cultures and cuisines to offer shoppers. Gourmet cooks and tourist alike can explore and discover the depth and breath of the multitude of products available.
Lunch will be on your own and can be eaten at one of the excellent restaurants located within the Market.
If you plan to purchase perishable items, you may bring your own cooler to be stored in the Bus's baggage compartment
Advance registration is required. The $42 fee includes a tip for the Bus Driver.
The bus will depart from Staples Office Supplies parking lot at 8:30 AM. Staples is located on Route 422 and Mill Street, which is in the western section of downtown Hershey.
We will make a short stop at the Valley Forge Turnpike rest stop and depart the Market between 2:00 and 3:00 PM. After we depart the Market, we will visit one of the famous Philadelphia Italian Pastry Bakeries for a back room tour and to purchase some of the finest Italian pastries in the entire universe.
Registration and payment is required by Friday, October 15, 2007.
