Sabastian was born in Vietnam in 1970 and came to the United States when he was three years old. With three American stepfathers, he never knew is biological father until 33 years later. Growing up Sabastian struggled with his identity, whether he was Asian, Mexican, Black, or American. This identity crisis combined with serious anger issues landed Sabastian in prison at the age of 17. After his fifth arrest at 19, he was facing a 66-years-to-life sentence. God intervened, and on July 1989 Sabastian accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
