Join us for Angelo and Scott's newest show, "Black Coffee". SPECIALLY BREWED FOR SAN DIEGO! Join us as San Diego's own dynamic duo of cabaret - Angelo D'Agostino and G. Scott Lacy return to Schroeder's Club & Cabaret with another Blues infused evening as rich and darkly brewed as its title: Black Coffee (tales of the vice and spice of love!) Songs like Fever, Bye Bye Blackbird and Blues in the Night will have you singin' and swingin' in the aisles, while love-worn azure ballads will help you catch your breath and round out an evening soon not to be forgotten! Musical segues include a laugh-riot song weave using a famous pill-popping movie score and a few other surprises exclusively for the Schroeder's audience! D'Agostino and Lacy will orchestrate a highly caffeinated evening as sweet and sugary (and sometimes bitter!) as a cup o' joe ought to be! DON'T WAIT! Get your tickets today as this show is scheduled to be a sell-out event! Vocalist Angelo D'Agostino and Musical Director G. Scott Lacy bring Black Coffee to Schroeder's Club & Cabaret to mark their 4th concert appearance in downtown San Diego! This show-stopping duo perform regularly in cabaret venues around the country and their cabaret shows Lush Life and Superstition are just two out of a handful of musical collaborations that they have created for public performance. Additional information and sound bites and more about the artists can be found on D'Agostino's website: www.xxiiiad.com

Schroeder's Club and Cabaret

Our intimate New York-style venue is the only cabaret in San Diego! Schroeder's is patterned after the cabaret clubs in New York, LA and San Francisco and has a comfortable, inviting ambiance complete with professional lighting and sound, a baby grand piano and candlelit tables. Schroeder's showcases the vocalists and the accompanist in a unique and intimate setting in the tradition of the cabarets and nightclubs popular in the 1920s - 1960s. Food and drinks are available in the Westin Sports Bar before and after the performance. Past performers have included Andrea Marcovicci, Sam Harris and Maude Maggart as well as local performers including Leigh Scarritt, Danielle Forsgren, Rayme Sciaroni, Eileen Bowman & Ric Henry, Phil Johnson, Debra Wanger, Bettina "Pixie" Warren, Melinda Gilb & Steve Gunderson, and Ole Kittleson and Priscilla Allen to name a few. The Cabaret is named for Todd Schroeder who is a singer/songwriter and musical director/accompanist. Todd is currently the musical director for Sam Harris, Angela Lansbury and Jason Alexander.
