The workshop will be held in GC 273B, a room in the Ernst R. Graham University Center building. The best parking lot for GC is Lot 3 or Gold Parking Garage. Check out FIU's Google Maps for help navigating around campus -- http://tinyurl.com/fiumcmap
When you enter the Graham Center through the main entrance, there will be a long hallway leading you from the FIU bookstore to the eating area. Walking towards the eating area you will see an elevator to your left. Head to the second floor and go right when you exit the elevator, you should see a hallway leading to classrooms with 273B on your right.

The first of many Ruby on Rails workshops!
This one is meant to be just an introduction and demo for Ruby on Rails and the powers of developing using the framework. I will help provide guidance to first timers on where to start and how to be on the right path to becoming a great Rubyist.
I hope this will be a great way to gauge what the Rails needs and wants of the SoFla web development community are and help create a great Rails community here in South Florida.
