Please join David Kirby, author of Death at SeaWorld - Shamu and the Dark Side of Killer Whales in Captivity, as he discusses his new book and the consequences of keeping large, intelligent, free-rangning animals confined to tanks for the delight of tourists. Followed by a panel discussion and Q/A featuring leading figures from the book, including orca expert and Humane Society scientist Naomi Rose, along with former SeaWorld trainers Sam Berg, Jeff Ventre and Seattle resident Carol Ray, and a book signing.
