Amy Barnes (Independent OD Consultant) based in the UK and her team has been invited to Toronto to co-facilitate a Leadership Programme and thought while here, they could offer an impromptu experiential piece on Theory U. Depending on people's experience of Theory U - a practicum session could also be included. This will be an informal event; so workshop costs would be a nominal fee just to cover expenses.

Andrew Campbell

Andrew is an artist, co-creator and guide to authors and thought leaders worldwide. His work has been associated with renowned writers such as Varela, Scharmer and Jaworski. Andrew has for a number of years contributed to, inspired, deepened and broadened people's awareness and understanding of the Art of Presencing, including its progenitors, current theorists and future practitioners. Andrew is one of the original contributors to the Global Dialog on Leadership project sponsored by SoL and McKinsey & Company initiated by Otto Scharmer, Peter Senge, Michael Jung, Brian Arthur & Ikujiro Nonaka. In 2005 he met former Generon Partner, Zaid Hassan, three years later Reos Partners' London office was co-founded. Leaving Reos Partners in 2008 he inspired and co-founded an independent not-for-profit foundation dedicated to catalysing social innovation and sustainability in the South of France, via a meeting brokered in London by Napier Collyns, co-founder of GBN a friend and advisor.  

He has over thirty years’ experience in teaching and coaching individuals and groups in a variety of settings. His supportive and facilitative style coupled with his depth of interdisciplinary knowledge in the arts, phenomenology, philosophy, complexity and learning has encouraged many people to think differently, to reconnect with creativity, to make new connections and to go beyond what they think is possible. He is much sought after and valued by different leaders. Ultimately, it is his ability to relate to people and his ability to appreciate each person’s uniqueness that makes working with him a memorable encounter.

Amy Barnes

Born in Hong Kong and educated in the United Kingdom, Amy has had to rely on her flexibility and resourcefulness from a young age. She held a number of corporate roles in people and organisation development before setting up on her own in 2003. Since then, she has worked with people from telecommunications, leisure, hospitality, government and not-for-profit sectors. She holds an MBA from Warwick University Business School and she is also a chartered member of the UK’s professional body for HR and L&D professionals.

Amy is an experienced facilitator and a coach who has worked with a broad range of people both individually and in groups. Her interest in learning and growth both in herself and others led her to undertake further training and education in Gestalt Psychotherapy. In addition to her organisational consulting work, she is also a wellbeing counsellor, a volunteer therapist and a mentor in a youth ex-offender project. Her particular interest is in facilitating and enabling self and others to develop their learning capacities. Her style is both supportive and challenging. She is described by others as ‘clear’, ‘grounded’ and ‘allowing us to flow’. She has a background and an active interest in dance, movement, music and more recently, art and poetry.
