Event Details
Calgary StringFest brings together great performers, teachers and advanced students aged 12-20. The StringFest brings something new to Calgary: a summer string festival with great concerts, advanced training, and fun with friends playing chamber music. The days will be spent in masterclasses and chamber music rehearsals, and most evenings in faculty and student recitals.
Tonight's performance is our StringFest Faculty Concert with our esteemed guest artists: Kai Gleusteen, violin; Catherine Ordronneau, piano; Daniel Scholz, viola and Judith Fraser, cello. They will be playing alongside our dedicated Amici faculty: Fiona Carnie, violin; Theresa Plotnick, viola; Andrea Case, cello; Diane Lane, violin and Keiko Takahashi, violin.
