This introduction class will lay the foundation for any continuing education. We will provide an overview of the most imporant things you'll need to know about:

- Thinking like a photographer

- The technique behind great images

- The technical camera setting stuff that you actually need to know, presented in a way that actually makes sense (no thanks to your camera manual!)

- The equipment you have (or may be considering buying soon)

- Although DSLRs will be the primary focus of our training, any digital camera with manual controls will be sufficient for this course. This intro class is geared more towards theory and classroom learning, although it's often helpful to have your camera handy so you can reference what we're discussing.

- Unless otherwise notified, all lessons will take place at the Dazzle Photography studio in the Independence Mall at 1601 Concord Pike, Suite 74-76, Wilmington, DE 19803. When you pull into the Independence Mall, look for the big scissors on the right side of the building. The stairwell leading up to the 2nd floor suites is just to the left of the scissors (and just to the right of Ryan's wines). Once upstairs, you'll see a sign for the studio - it's the third door on the left.
