Parkinson's Disease Hike Series

With Matthew Brodsky, MD, Movement Disorder Specialist with the Parkinson Center of Oregon at OHSU.

These hikes will be approximately 5 miles long with varried terrain and hills at a fast pace. If you feel you may not be able to participate at that level, we invite you to the 3 mile, lower intensity hikes in July and September.

If you have any concerns about your ability to participate safely in this type of activity, please talk to your neurologist first.

Date: October 19

Time: 9 am

Meeting Point: Lower Macleay Park near the metal structure.  Park in the cul-de-sac on NW Upshur or on NW Thurman at 29th.  Please see the map.

Bring: Drinking water and appropriate shoes and clothing for rain or shine.  Friendly dogs are welcome on a leash but no children, please.

If you have a cell phone, be sure to include the number when you register and keep the phone with you on the hike so that we can contact you with last minute changes. You can also register by calling our office at 503-594-0901.
