Novelist Thomas Kennedy presents a workshop for up to 20 writers called the "Five Senses of Fiction." Sensory evocation is found in every strong, memorable fiction – and in creative nonfiction as well. This workshop will encourage with examples in a presentation of about 45 minutes followed by an exercise focused on sensory evocation.
This event is sponsored by the Hub City Writers Project.
Kennedy, a resident of Denmark, is the author of Falling Sideways and In the Company of Angels. He will give a reading at the Hub City Bookshop at 5 pm, prior to the workshop.
