Summer, Sun and Best Shorts

FUTURE SHORTS San Francisco invites you…

…to Summer Shorts Show at FIREHOUSE 8

Find a spare moment in your busy summer weekend calendar for the best short films from around the globe screened in “Firehouse 8” located at 1648 Pacific Avenue in San Francisco, between Van Ness and Polk Street.

Future Shorts Festival is currently the largest global pop-up film festival with 2 million viewers and quarterly screenings in over 145 cities in 55 countries. Working across exhibition, distribution and experiential events, Future Shorts is the product of 9 years of audience development, experimentation and of reacting to the demand for a different way of experiencing film.

This season continues the competition for the Future Shorts Audience Award giving the power of vote in hands of the audience.

Firehouse 8                                                                                            Formerly an active fire station, “Firehouse 8” is transforming into a mixed retail and event space. This San Francisco landmark no.188 on Pacific Avenue in the Russian Hill district was built in 1917 by design of John Reid Jr. After being left empty by the city for over 30 years the firehouse is finally open to the community for various artistic, educational, commercial and philanthropic venues.

Come and enjoy the Future Shorts hot summer programme here and don’t forget to wear your best shorts.

Visit www.futureshorts.com for more information on the festival and Firehouse 8 Facebook page or website http://firehouse-8.com/ to find out more about the venue.
