Two Day Photographic Workshop with Greg Mettler
Thursday, August 16 and Friday, August 17, 11 am-4 pm
This two day workshop is designed to help new digital photographers gain a better understanding of the basic principles of photography including exposure, depth of field, motion and composition. The first day will include of a guided tour of the Monterey Museum of Art, La Mirada exhibition: In Sharp Focus: The Legacy of Monterey, photography and hands-on demonstrations of basic photographic principles.
On the second day, students will meet at Asilomar Beach and Spanish Cove to test their knowledge, followed by a visit to Greg Mettler’s studio in Pacific Grove where they apply the newly learned principles.
Students must have a Digital Single Lens Reflex camera with FULL manual capabilities. Lunch will be included on both days of the workshop.
