Self Defense Seminar

Come learn the basics of self defense in this informative one-day workshop.
Older Students/Adults (ages 12-up)
This class will cover the following:
Intro & statistics; Upper & lower body warm-up; Ready stance & body positioning; Strikes and vital striking points; Grab defense (bear hug, choke, arm grab, etc.); Ground defense (defending and getting up); Knife defense; and Gun defense.

Children's session (ages 5-11)
Younger students will learn some basic moves to help them escape from an attacker. They will also learn some common sense information about staying safe from child predators.
Note - Younger class is limited to 15 students max. and only lasts for the first 30 minutes of the session.

Cost: $10.00 per person
Families: $10.00 1st person & $5.00 additional attendees in immediate family
Please plan to pay on site the day of the event.
For this event, we can accept cash or checks only. No credit cards.

Extraordinary Education



The Extraordinary Education Center exists to help students and their families discover and develop their unique, God-given talents and abilities and lead them toward honoring and serving the Lord with their gifts. We are a learning community of families who have chosen to go beyond the ordinary and educate our children beyond the traditional school setting.

Our center provides a supportive, cooperative learning community for students and their families. We offer a variety educational opportunities including classes, clubs, teams, field trips, special events and social activities for students as well as support for parents. Our program is designed to be a cost-effective option to augment home-based learning in a safe, positive, family-friendly, environment.
