The annual lotus blossoms are a unique photo opportunity. Capture shots and learn how to use available light effectively in flower and macro photography. Join me for a photo shoot at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington DC on Wednesday, July 22 from 7:00-11:00AM. We will spend the morning photographing lotus blossoms, colorful aquatic flowers, and a wide range of natural subjects including reflections and abstracts.
Recommended equipment: a tripod, a telephoto/zoom lens in the 200mm to 300mm range , a macro lens or a lens with macro capability to get close-ups of blooms, a polarizing filter, a reflector or a piece of aluminum foil.

Joe continues to travel extensively producing new and exciting images of the natural world as well as leading several photography workshops and photo tours each year.
