How To Build a Scalable Business

Monday, July 23rd from 6:00 - 7:30 pm

Adam Bildersee, US Product Director, Barzer

You've got a great product. You are expanding to include more users, more features, and more data. Do you have the necessary organizational and technical robustness to handle fast paced growth?

This class prepares you for maintaining your business as it scales in size. In doing so, we consider your administrative and technical strategies. On the administrative side, we discuss accountability, aligning incentives and tracking information effectively. On the technical side, we discuss best practices for rollouts, high availability, identifying resource usage patterns, and handling system failures.

Adam Bildersee is the US Product Director at Barzer, a startup specializing in natural language tools for the web. He has expertise in language, data analytics and search. Adam holds a BS from Yale in Biotechnology, where his research focused on constructing computational models of protein networks in bacteria. He has also worked as a software developer for Bloomberg LP for three years, designing, managing and implementing large technical projects. Adam has been featured in the New York Times technology blog, but don't bother checking for what.
