For the first time, this June, all 29 CreativeMornings chapters will be hosting their events under one common, unified theme: The Intersection of Arts + Technology, presented in partnership with the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
Here at Sydney CM HQ we're proud to announce Hael Kobayashi as our guest speaker on this global theme.
Hael Kobayashi is the Associate Director at the Creative Industries Innovation Centre (CIIC) for the University of Technology in Sydney. As Associate Director, Hael brings substantial knowledge and expertise across the Creative Industries to the CIIC.
Hael has more than 30 years experience in film, digital and new media, design and performing arts. He has held senior management roles with Lucasfilm’s Industrial Light + Magic and DreamWorks Animation, and was one of the producers for Australia’s Animal Logic on the Oscar winning, animated feature “Happy Feet”. Since 2004, Hael has been involved with Sydney’s emergence as a creative innovation hub, and he is the Chair of Digital Sydney.
Hael Kobayashi will be speaking at Sydney CreativeMornings on June 15th. Tickets will become available on Monday 11th June at 11am. This is a public holiday for NSW so you may want to write that down. A reminder will go out as usual through twitter and Facebook.

CreativeMornings is a monthly morning gathering for creative types. Each event includes a 20 minute lecture, followed by a 20 minute group discussion. The gathering begins at 8:30am with the topic presentation starting at 9:00am and everyone taking off for work at 9:45am. CreativeMornings are free of charge!
