You are cordially invited to attend the sixth annual National Conference on College Student Grief presented by National Students of AMF Support Network. Join fellow student leaders, college mental health experts, and other passionate attendees for a national forum discussing current issues and future directions in college student grief over an energized weekend including educational seminars, networking opportunities, and grief support workshops.
If you're serious about advancing the support provided to grieving college students, your professional development, and/or your chapter (and having fun!), this conference is right for you.

*Students of AMF chapter attendees (up to two students per chapter) are eligible for a scholarship to pay for up to $250 of their flight costs and 100% of their hotel costs (by National Students of AMF). Faculty advisors will be offered $100 travel stipends and hopefully your academic institution will cover the remainder. Faculty are responsible for arranging hotel accomodations. Students should email Lauren at lauren@studentsofamf.org if they are planning to attend to work out flight reimbursements and hotel accomodations. If $250 does not cover enough of the flight costs and a student would like to apply for additional funding, an additional scholarship form will be available as well.
Attire
Conference attendees are encouraged to wear business casual attire. For men, that would include khaki pants or slacks with a polo or button-down shirt or sweater; for women, this equates to a casual dress, skirt, or nice pants. Attire for the evenings is casual and can include shorts and t-shirts.
Travel
Air: The nearest airport is Raleigh-Durham International (RDU). The airport is approximately 3 miles from the hotel.
From airport: A complementary shuttle is provided to and from the airport!
Rental car: For those who choose to rent a car (at their own cost), the RDU Airport is home to most major rental car agencies.
Parking: Parking at the hotel is available at no cost.
Weather
August is typically a warm month in Raleigh. The average high is 86 degrees Fahrenheit and the average low is 68 degrees Fahrenheit.

Crabtree Lake- this is a wonderful spot for running, walking, biking, and boating.
Crabtree Valley Mall- will take 10 minutes to get there.
Frankie's Fun Park- this has all sorts of things to do with the family and is only a few minutes from our property.

Trali Irish Pub- has wonderful food, drinks, and live entertainment which is usually folk.
Full Steam Brewery- has wonderful drinks, food trucks ( local food that varies outside), trivia, and entertainment.
North Carolina State University: will take 10 minutes to get there.
Cancellation Policy
Registration fees will be refunded for all cancellations made by July 15, 2013. Attendees will book their own airfare and be reimbursed by National Students of AMF up to $250 following receipt submission. For hotel rooms paid by National Students of AMF, the cancelling party will be liable for 100% of the cost of the room after July 15, 2013.
