The Learn to Windsurf days are open to anyone and are designed to allow first time windsurfers to give the sport a try.
The Club, in conjunction with Mariner Sails provides all the equipment you need, all you need to
do is show up and bring an open mind. The instructors are NTWR club members. The cost is $20 which
we use to cover some Club costs, the rest we donate to charity. The lessons are in a low pressure environment.
Due to size requirements and available equipment, the students must be over 8 years old.
We will have a total of 24 spots for students in our Learn to Windsurf program. The 24 will be split into 3 groups of 8. Each group will have a two hour lesson consisting of 30 minutes on the beach followed by 90 minutes on the water. We will put 4 boards and four coaches on the water. Each coach will have 2 students.

If Learn To Windsurf is postponed because of weather conditions, the make up date is 07/18/2009.
