This summer, top London events website,
Spoonfed.co.uk, are hosting a series of open air comedy gigs showcasing some of their favourite funny people from big headliners to talented newcomers. The shows will be held on a green leafy roof terrace in Dalston, complete with cocktail bar and vegetable garden. They've also got delicious food pop-up Big Apple Hot Dogs on board, so you can enjoy some of the finest hot dogs in the land as well as a first-rate line-up of comedy. Does that sound good or what?
The second gig, on June 14th features Let's Dance for Comic Relief star and Master of Voices Terry Alderton, raucous Canadian Pete Johansson, Hackney New Act of the Year winner 2012 Pat Cahill, the brilliantly quirky Lou Sanders, surreal stand-up Holly Burn, charming comedy songstress Carly Smallman and the always-excellent Trevor Lock as your host.
All proceeds will be donated to
Centrepoint, a charity that supports homeless young people in London.
N.B. Doors will be open at 6:30pm and the show will start at 7:30pm. In the event of bad weather, a retractable roof cover will be used.
