Mascot for the Dead
Reading / Worshop / Presentation
Marc Arthur’s new production “Mascot for the Dead” unpacks war, disease, madness, suffering and corruption to investigate the violent act through live painting. Structured in the style of a Jacobean revenge tragedy, and drawing on a vast array of text, music, sound and dance, this work exposes the raw nerves—psychic and social—that pulse through modern life.
