Our membership appreciation party will be held at Manuel's Tavern on Saturday, June 27th from 1-4 pm. As always, this event will be free to any members from the 2008-2009 member year or those who have already paid their dues for 2009-2010, guests can attend for a fee of $10.
Speaking this year will be our friend, Wally Richardson. As you probably remember, Wally was the starting quarterback for PSU in 1995 and 1996. After several years in the NFL, AFL, and XFL he worked as an academic counselor at Penn State and is now Associate Director of Academic Services for the University of Georgia.
For lunch you will have your choice of three buffet dinners: herb roasted chicken breast, sliced roast beef with mushroom gravy, and vegetarian lasagna; side dishes include green beans and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Each attendee will receive three drink tickets good for 1 draft or bottle beer (up to a $5 value) or house wine. Pitchers of domestic beer will cost 4 tickets.
