Event Details

Asia Society welcomes you to attend an edifying discussion on June 15th at our headquarters as we unwrap how two distinguished former CEOs Charles B. Wang and Brian F. Mullaney, of two prominent tech companies, Computer Associates and Schell/Mullaney Advertising respectively,  founded the world's largest cleft lip and cleft palate organization and how their brilliant business model drove their organization to become one of the best-managed, most productive charities in America.

Moderated by Sreenath Sreenivasan, Dean of Student Affairs, Columbia Journalism School, and co-founder of the South Asian Journalists Association (SAJA), this event will also include a screening for the Oscar-Winning film "Smile Pinki," a captivating story of a young girl in rural India whose life magically transforms after undergoing surgery to correct her cleft lip  for no cost by a local Smile Train surgeon.
