The Sacramento Area Science Project (SASP) is an educational partnership between the University of California, Davis and California State University, Sacramento.  SASP will provide the training that will expand the skill set for secondary science teachers in the adaptation and delivery of instruction, engaging students in reasoning tasks, asking questions, developing the idea and use of scientific evidence and move toward an organized structure for instruction centered on modeling and model-based research.  There will be additional PD dates during the school year with options for attendance during the instructional day or after school.  Limited to 32 participants.
