New material for returning students!
Camp ACA is a one-week Broadway summer camp that has kids clamoring to come back each summer. Camp is great fun for children of all skill levels! Space is limited!
Workshops with Broadway Actors: Campers take workshops with Broadway actors throughout the week.
Workshops include:
Musical Theatre Technique
Improvisation
Broadway Dance
Vocal Training
Acting for the Camera
Intro to Shakespeare
Intro to Stage Combat
Intro to Stage Make-up
Broadway Matinee & Talk Back: Campers also see a Broadway Matinee and have a ”Talk Back” with actors after the show!
Off-Broadway Debut – The Final Showcase: While not in a workshop, campers rehearse for a final showcase in which they make their Off-Broadway debut at an exciting theatre in the heart of the Great White Way!
During lunch break, Broadway actors visit with campers to answer questions and sign autographs!
Camp takes place in Manhattan and on Long Island in the month of August from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday and on Long Island from 9:30 – 5:30.
