Meet the Funder: Bruni Burres, Sundance Institute Documentary Fund

 ***NOW WEDNESDAY, June 27, 2012, 6:30 - 8:00pm***

The Sundance Institute Documentary Fund provides support for U.S. and international documentary films that focus on current human rights issues, freedom of expression, social justice, civil liberties, and exploring critical issues of our time. Join us for a conversation with Bruni Burres, senior consultant with the SDP, who works to expand the roster of national and international documentary filmmakers working with the program, deepen national and international collaborations with filmmakers and cultural institutions, and broaden the human rights themes currently explored by the SDP. More than 500 awards have supported documentary filmmakers in 61 countries globally - and this is your opportunity to find out how you can be one of those filmmakers. The Documentary Fund is part of the the Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program (SDP), dedicated to supporting contemporary-issue nonfiction filmmakers worldwide in the production of cinematic documentaries with human rights themes.
