Desert Green

Desert Green is a non profit 501(c)3, public benefit organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of the green industry. It is Desert Green's purpose to aid in the gathering, exchange and dissemination of facts and information related to the green industry as well as in the research and educational areas, working with other agencies and organizations to obtain these goals. The Desert Green Foundation is dedicated to providing education to the horticulture industry in Nevada. Its primary activity is a yearly conference for landscape contractors, municipalities, landscape architects, arborists, pesticide applicators and other green industry professionals. The Foundation has been staging these conferences since 2003. The conference is sponsored by the: Southern Nevada Golf Course Superintendents Association; Nevada Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects; University of Nevada Cooperative Extension; Nevada Landscape Association; Southern Nevada Water Authority; Nevada Shade Tree Council; Southwest Trees & Turf, the Southern Nevada Arborists Group and Western Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (WCISA).
