How the Emotion Roadmap and John Kotter's Change Management steps are synergistic

How individual leaders Emotional Intelligence abilities can impact the leadership of change

How to identify and avoid stepping on emotional land mines that are present in planned organizational changes

Background: Chuck is CEO of Charles J. Wolfe Associates, LLC. He is an internationally sought-after speaker and has published and been quoted in prestigious journals. Chuck has created the Emotion Roadmap to help enhance performance. The Emotion Roadmap is featured in workshops and chapters he has authored, "The Practice of EI Coaching in Organizations: A Hands-on Guide to Successful Outcomes" in Educating people to be emotionally intelligent (2007) and co-author of “Transformation Leadership” in Kaizen Event Fieldbook (2009).

In the search for a world class program Philips selected Chuck and his colleagues two day workshop Emotional Intelligence Critical Skills for Success. The workshop is running in the US, Europe and Asia. What People Are Saying About Chuck Wolfe:

“It was a pleasure to work with Chuck. He was a professional in every sense of the word and worked diligently to provide a customized solution that was both practical and meaningful for all stakeholders. Chuck's expertise goes beyond the subject matter at hand and enabled him to make a personal connection with all of the participants in the workshop. His workshop provided real world answers to current existing problems and demonstrated how his approach could provide immediate value once the participant returned back to the office.”

Christopher Darone, Director, Training & Development, ESPN, Inc.

Chuck Wolfe has opened our eyes to the power of self awareness, understanding and managing emotions. Given the fact that Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation (MPTN) is a family first, the planning and problem solving processes we employ must be emotionally based. We are already employing what we are learning and have found that being more emotionally intelligent has increased our effectiveness in our relationships and with key initiatives such as strategic planning and the balanced scorecard. There is no doubt that with the guidance of Chuck Wolfe, MPTN is on the path to emotional and intellectual growth.

Josh Carter, Organization Development Specialist
Sandi Voogd, Director of Organization Development

I highly recommend Chuck Wolfe as an excellent Executive Coach. He has been very instrumental in helping us manage change, build our team, and manage our talent. We have hired Chuck to be an Executive Coach for many Members of our senior team, including myself, and the progress has been great. In addition we have used Chuck in larger and smaller settings with working groups of middle management personnel. Again, the results have been excellent. All of us at American General that have worked with Chuck have personally benefited and we highly recommend him to you.
