ABOUT THE COURSE
Prerequisite: Completion of live or online LSCI Certification Part 1: Introduction to Life Space Crisis Intervention.
This three-day course builds on the Introduction to Life Space Crisis Intervention and introduces an additional five specific behavior patterns: misperceptions, lacking social skills, rationalizing harm, bullying, and impulsivity.
Additional learning is facilitated through discussion from the textbook and viewing of real-life recorded interventions. Extensive group activities include practice scenarios, peer feedback, and self-rating. Participants will also discuss how trauma-informed care supports each specific behavior pattern.
Course meets on the following days:

Course hours will be from 9a-3p with sign-in beginning at 8:30am on all three days. Lunch will be on your own.

ABOUT THE HOST
Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families serves as a National Training Site for the LSCI Institute and maintains certified Senior Trainers on staff.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
MFTs, LCSWs, LEPs, LPCCs: This course meets the qualifications for 15 hours of continuing education credit for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Educational Psychologists (LEPs), and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCCs) as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families; Provider 2522).
Nurses: Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP 15108, 15 hours.
CAADE: Provider approved by the California Association for Alcohol and Drug Educators, Provider #; CP10 914 C 1113 for 15 contact hours.
